About the Organisation u&u are working exclusively with Flor Hanly, a leading accounting firm in Mackay, to assist in recruiting a talented marketing and communications specialist to join their team. The firm specialises in agribusiness and also services a wide range of client industries from SME's, family businesses, HNW individuals and larger private companies. You will join a team of around 25 accounting, administration and general management staff who all love what they do, love where they work and are passionate about supporting and giving back to the community.

About the Role Due to continued growth, Flor Hanly are looking to appoint an experienced and talented marketing communications specialist who can strengthen and expand their brand presence, increase lead generation and conversion and assist the firm in offering further support and services to their clients. This role requires someone who understands how to support a long standing, successful business from a marketing communications perspective, respecting the performance of the current channels and tactics in place and creating a tailored strategy that will enhance the existing plan and increase brand engagement. Key responsibilities: Take a proactive approach to understanding the business, working closely with the business leaders and accountants in the field to understand their client base, the level of service they provide and their target market; Take ownership of the marketing and communications strategy, delivering across all existing channels and working with the business to create new opportunities to promote the brand and showcase their work; Lead the redevelopment of the website, overseeing an external agency from a technical perspective and managing all content and branding in alignment with the client engagement strategy; Create a schedule of marketing, communicatioons, events and media activities and key projects in order of priority, gaining buy in and support from the business; Ensure the delivery of campaigns, projects and activities across all print and digital channels are on brand, on time and on budget; and Effectively manage the marketing budget and track the progress and success of all paid activity.

About You This role is responsible for creating and delivering a successful strategy that will strengthen brand presence in the relevant markets and generate new leads across regional and rural areas. To be considered for this role, your background and experience must meet the following criteria: At least 5 years' experience delivering successful marketing and communications initiatives in a corporate environment, preferably with an exposure to and interest in agriculture / agribusiness; Professional services experience would be highly favourable; Tertiary qualifications in journalism, marketing, communications or business would be preferred; Demonstrated knowledge and skills in copywriting, content management, social media, events and corporate communications; Outs.
