Your new role This role will support the Securities Services Business across Australia and New Zealand. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Negotiating and establishing agreements with new clients or managing deals with existing clients; Providing regulatory advice on the financial services landscape, including on new products and services; Drafting contracts with sub-custodians and other service providers, including IT vendors; Assisting with PDS review, legal disclaimers, incident reports and document management; Reporting to Head of Legal and various Committees; Working with the business and legal team to establish best practice. What you'll need to succeed Australian legal qualifications and a current Australian practicing certificate; 5-8 years' legal experience in the financial services sector from either a leading tier law firm or another financial institution; Previous experience with banking and securities is preferred; Maturity, operational and commercial judgement, and proven experience building positive working relationships with business teams.
