Looking to step away from Transactional Accounting with a focus on Reporting & Analysis? Our Client: We are working closely with a Multi-National Organisation located within the Rhodes region, who have had significant growth over the last 12 months and during these testing times with COVID-19 Due to this, a newly created position for an Assistant Accountant is now available - the Finance team are super keen to bring on an ambitious, enthusiastic technically savvy Assistant Accountant. The Role: Reporting into the Finance Manager, you will have a diverse role that will engage you in various elements of Accounting. You will have the opportunity to step away from the transactional and focus more on End of Month, Reporting and Analysis tasks.

The role will not be limited to: Preparation of Balance Sheet & PnL Reconciliations Preparation of all monthly journals including inter-company transactions Ownership of the Fixed Assets Register (full function) Preparation of BAS, GST and FBT on a monthly / quarterly basis Assisting with Cashflow forecast reporting Assisting with Budget & Forecasting processes Assisting with the preparation of Tax & Audit Schedules Assisting with Audit processes Preparation of Reporting & Analysis To be considered for this role: This is not your ordinary Assistant Accountant position; you will be working in a high volume and fast paced environment where you will be required to think on your feet, be proactive and be solutions orientated. Degree Qualified / CPA or CA Qualified or near completion Must have strong tax experience & understanding Excel - intermediate to advanced excel skills is a must 4-5 years experience within commercial industries i.e Pharmaceuticals / FMCG or Manufacturing Diligent, self-starter and highly organised (excellent time management) Strong business partnering, negotiation and analytical mindset Strong communication, both written and verbal On Offer: You will be working within a high performing team and you will receive an extensive onboarding process to get you on the right foot.
