Through growth of the business and internal movement a fantastic opportunity to join an energetic team has presented itself for an experienced life insurance claims professional to join a leading claims outfit as a Dispute Resolution Consultant. About the role: As a Dispute Resolution Consultant you will manage a caseload of disputed claims by applying high level claims assessment capabilities in consideration of financial, medical, contractual, internal business processes and underwriting guidelines, and the law to determine strength and merits of the dispute with reference to the contract, Insurance Contracts Act, Life Act and Superannuation laws. You will ensure all efforts are made to resolve matters capable of resolution through maintaining the highest ethical standards, identifying win/win solutions, identifying alternative resolution pathways, negotiations and participating in conciliations.

Also, open communication with all stakeholders such as: Claims Assessors, customers, customer representatives, Trustees, internal /external providers of legal advice & the business leaders. Lastly but not limited to, you will make sure compliance is met with all relevant internal and external guidelines and law: ASIC, Life Code of Practice, SCT, FOS.
