Underground Scheduling Engineer
Underground Scheduling Engineer required for a mining client who is offering excellent career progression plan & salary package. Apply Now Reporting to the Underground Mine Manager the successful scheduling Engineer(s) role will include: Management of all aspects of mining activities including personnel recruitment, equipment evaluation and procurement and the review of mine design alternatives. Fulfilling international statutory requirements of a Senior UG Mining Engineer.
Oversee daily production activities. Preparation of detailed reports budgets and schedules. Oversee department employees and contractors and ensure that site activities are completed in accordance with safety, quality and time.
Mentor and develop the National Mining Engineering staff. Review and understand the project HSE and quality requirement specifications and overall project schedule. Maintain strong relationships with internal and external key stakeholders.
Adhere to safe work methods and risk constraints. To be successful in this role you should possess: A degree qualification in Mining Engineering. Up to 3 years proven underground mining experience, inclusive of planning, UG operations stope design, production and development.
Excellent leadership capabilities. Extensive experience working in remote, challenging locations. Strong written and communication skills.
