Technicians for works on overhead cranes & jib cranes servicing, repairing & installing on various mines Your new company Our client is a well-established industry leader in the overhead crane industry. Established in the 80's they are well set up to service the Central Queensland & Bowen Basin Region whilst providing their employees with stability and security in their jobs. They are actively seeking to expand their Emerald branch and require a Crane Technician (Electrical) willing to be trained to provide onsite services to their Mining clients.
Your new role This role will see you completing maintenance, repairs & installs on overhead & jib cranes both in the workshop and onsite. You will be responsible for producing a quality install or repairs whilst providing exceptional service. Majority of your time will be spent servicing multiple sites within the Bowen Basin so an ability to travel Monday to Friday is essential.
What you'll need to succeed To be successful for this role you will ideally hold the following qualifications/tickets: Trade Qualified Fitter or Electrician Current Drivers licence Standard 11 or Equivalent Coal Board Medical - Or willing to obtain Working at Heights Confined Space EWP - Desirable Basic hand tools You will be required to complete a D&A Test prior to commencing. What you'll get in return Our client is actively seeking personal for ongoing roles, ideally this placement will see you complete a short period with Hays before commencing directly with our client on successful completion of the casual assignment.
