Your new company Due to a recent organisation wide restructuring, this local government body is seeking an experienced Helpdesk Support Officer to join their team on a 3-month contract. This client is based on the central coast. Your new role The role of the Technical Support Analyst is responsible for the delivery of customer service, desktop support and field support for all IT services.

Your duties may include but will not be limited to: Providing 1st level support to staff across multiple locations. Provide desktop and field support as required with installation, configuration and maintenance of desktop computer equipment, mobility devices and software; Analyse, troubleshoot and resolve general issues, monitor progress and allocate issues where required, to ensure timely resolution. Deploying and managing Mobile devices such as iPad, iPhone, Samsung phones and tablets.

Logging tickets and taking calls and Setting up user accounts and mobile phones and tablets. Reporting issues to management and working with 2nd and 3rd level support to resolve issues. Logging accounts with an external 3rd party Company.

What you'll need to succeed Demonstrated experience in maintain and installing hardware, software and dealing with network issues; Demonstrated experience providing a high level of customer service in a similar IT role; Excellent time management skills with ability to effectively plan and prioritise work; Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to deal with difficult customers; Demonstrated analytical skills to troubleshoot IT issues and support customer needs.
