Human Rights and Ethical Sourcing Manager Human Rights and Ethical Sourcing Manager Human Rights and Ethical Sourcing Manager Human Rights and Ethical Sourcing Manager Join market leader in Industrial and Safety products Great career development opportunity for ambitious and passionate person Excellent team environment and supportive management Sydney or Melbourne location Due to exciting growth, an opportunity is available for an experienced and dynamic Human Rights and Ethical Sourcing Manager to join our team In this hands-on and strategic role, you will be responsible for development, implementation, governance and continual improvement of the Human Rights and Ethical Sourcing strategy to ensure sourcing activities are successfully executed across our supply chain. What you will need to succeed: Industry experience in Human Rights/ Ethical Sourcing/ Social Compliance Demonstrated understanding of risk identification, mitigation, solution finding and technical competence Demonstrated research skills and ability to interpret standards, legislation and contracts Strong project management and execution skills Internal and External stakeholder engagement such as Sales, Procurement, Customer, Industry experts, Government and NGOs Experience with Sedex framework (preferred) Your key responsibilities include but not limited to: Develop, implement, govern, review and continually improve the Human Rights and Ethical Sourcing management system Identify and present plans on mitigating emerging risks Coaching stakeholders on content, remediation and solution finding Develop and deliver learning and development programs for Blackwoods internal stakeholders Deliver Human Rights and Ethical Sourcing objectives and KPIs Deliver business reporting requirements across Blackwoods and Wesfarmers Support business requests such as customer tenders, terms and sales team presentations What’s on offer: A secure career with a proud Australian company Competitive salary package Flexible working arrangements Parental leave - 12weeks for primary carer and 4 weeks for non-primary carer Team member discounts on company products The opportunity to participate in the Wesfarmers Share Plan Access to discounted offers from corporate partners Ongoing career development and training Work in a fun and supportive team As part of the Wesfarmers Industrial and Safety group, Blackwoods is Australia’s leading supplier of industrial and safety products with over 140 years’ experience delivering end-to-end specialist solutions across a multitude of industry segments.
