Director, Transition and Divisional Support
We're looking for a candidate to fill this position in an exciting company in The Public Sector. Lead the Office of Deputy Commissioner, ensuring appropriate governance, frameworks, policies and protocols are in place and consistently applied, particularly with respect to major projects and reform, corporate governance and risk. Lead and manage the interface with the Transformation Office on behalf of the Deputy Commissioner, Organisational Capability.
Oversee the strategic analysis of incoming departmental and Ministerial correspondences. Manage critical tasks within the Office of the Deputy Commissioner, to meet the Division's needs and objectives. Oversee the functions of the Corporate Governance Group, to ensure robust agency wide governance and risk management.
Establish and implement systems and processes to ensure reporting requirements and deadlines are met. Extensive experience in leading the provision of strategic and operational support in a large and complex public sector organisation. Extensive ability to assess, manage, and propose solutions for complex issues and/or risks.
High level knowledge of contemporary business processes. Detailed knowledge of all relevant legislation, regulations, policies, and procedures relating to the correctional system. Demonstrated experience in the preparation of reports and executive documentation.
Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to interpret data to support effective decision making. High level interpersonal skills to build and maintain strategic relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and negotiate with and influence others on sensitive and complex issues..
