Department: Department of Justice and Community Safety Lead the implementation of data architectures Fixed term 12 months, Full time Attractive salary range: $120,692 - $161,511 (plus superannuation) About us Technology Solutions (TS) is a business unit within the Corporate Governance and Support (CGaS) Division of Department of Justice and Community Safety (DJCS) that provides a range of Information, Communication and Technology (ICT) services and is responsible for the department's IT strategies, policies, projects, architecture, infrastructure, corporate systems and service management of IT suppliers. TS supports the DJCS vision of ‘a justice and community safety system that works together to build a safer, fairer and stronger Victoria' through the effective management of technology innovation, value, risk and performance quality.
About the role The role primarily supports the development of and lead the implementation of data architectures aligned with the department's organisation wide enterprise architecture principles and architecture standards to meet highly complex project and business requirements. You will collaborate with business unit staff and business analysts to translate highly complex business requirements into sound designs, and effectively communicate and translate technical concepts to senior stakeholders to enable informed decision-making and the management of expectations. Technical Skills As an IT candidate, you will have: Expert knowledge of, and demonstrated experience within a large ICT environment, of architecture practice, including data architecture, applications, integration, operations and security, leading to successful ICT improvement or transformation creating realised business value.
