The Position St John of God Geelong Hospital is currently seeking an outstanding individual to support the leadership and culture of the Hospital, through promotion of the Mission and values of St John of God Health Care, in undertaking the role of Director of Mission Integration. Reporting to the SJGGH CEO and Group Director of Mission Integration (GDMI), you will be an exceptional leader, with strong executive, strategic and influencing skills, capable of providing collaborative and inclusive leadership that enables all senior leaders to embed Mission and values as part of their practice. In working alongside leaders and managers in the Hospital, you will help ensure that the Mission and values are an integral part of leadership practice.
You will serve as a key operational advisor that can articulate patient care and experience that is informed by the Mission and values. Through your role, you will influence organisational culture, performance, patient experience and direction of the health service. If you possess qualifications in Health Care, Human Resources, Organisational Development, Theology, Scripture, Ethics, or Ministry, have a demonstrated ability to lead organisational culture and change, and are able to build strong and collegial relationships with leaders, operating at a senior, executive level, we would love to hear from you.
This position will be offered on a permanent part time basis, working 60.8 hours per fortnight. The successful candidate will have: Ability to work within and contribute to the Mission and values of St John of God Health Care.
Qualifications in Health Care, Human Resources, Organisational Development, Theology, Scripture, Ethics, or Ministry, or related studies. Ability to influence senior leaders, organisational culture and lead Mission integration. Demonstrated performance as a strategic leader with evidence of capacity to lead Mission or values-based discernment of key decisions.
Demonstrated capacity to build collaborative relationships among senior leaders in order to foster a united approach to strategy, patient experience and organisational culture that reflect SJGHC Mission and values. Demonstrated ability to serve as a senior executive, with a high degree of accountability for performance of self and others, capable of managing competing demands, and delivering results. High-level verbal and written communication skills and the capacity to engage effectively with a variety of people.
