ABOUT THE ROLE: Reporting to the Quality Manager, Home Care Services the Quality Coordinator position is required to provide support, guidance and expertise to assist Home Care Services (HCS) with the monitoring, evaluation and continual improvement of systems and processes to ensure safe, effective quality services are delivered. The base location for this position will be Mercy Health Support Offices in Richmond. Travel to regional offices is also required.

Permanent Full Time role Responsible for analysing data, identifying improvements and maintaining the quality management activities and systems in accordance with Mercy Health’s Home Care policies and procedures. Ensure quality documentation is maintained according to standard and support organisational readiness for external accreditation processes Champion and encourage our people to continuously review and improve work practices ABOUT YOU: Demonstrated skills and experience with maintaining quality management systems Strong understanding of compliance and quality improvement Ability to influence and encourage staff to adopt a quality improvement culture while operating in a team environment Possess superior communication skills and the ability to undertake quality audits to identify weaknesses and strengths Dedicated to enriching the lives of our clients and take reasonable care to protect fellow staff in the workplace Relevant tertiary qualifications or acceptable equivalent. Understanding of quality improvement and quality management principles and practices in a health or community care setting.
