Team Leader, Catholic Leadership and Governance
Catholic Education Melbourne (CEM) is a dynamic education service provider to 335 Catholic primary, secondary and special schools in the Archdiocese of Melbourne. More than 450 staff work across the head office in East Melbourne and four regional offices in the North, East, South and West. CEM provides services to schools in areas as diverse as Curriculum, RE, Finance, ICT, Marketing and Communications, Student Wellbeing, Legal, Planning and Industrial Relations.

ABOUT THE POSITION The Team Leader, Catholic Leadership and Governance will demonstrate a commitment to the mission of Catholic education and a capacity to realise that mission in the context of the Catholic Education Melbourne (CEM) Strategy Plan 2015–2019 which promotes strong, shared leadership and a culture of creativity and innovative practice. Reporting to the Manager, Catholic Leadership and Governance, this role will coordinate and manage the development and implementation of the Catholic Leadership Team’s priorities at a regional level, including the areas of Religious Education and Catholic Identity.
They will also assist with the coordination of the development and implementation of Catholic Education Melbourne’s Education policy and curriculum documents and resources. This is an ongoing position. Salary for this position is $145,642 per annum.
Superannuation contribution in accordance with the Superannuation Guarantee Legislation is in addition to this salary payment. Salary packaging arrangements are also available to staff of Catholic Education Melbourne. Professional working hours and annual leave of four weeks apply to this position.
TO BE SUCCESSFUL The successful candidate will have extensive teaching and management experience in Catholic schools and other relevant settings. They must have significant experience in leading a diverse team of professionals. Qualifications in Education/Religious Education and Theology is a requirement of this role.
The successful applicant will also be subject to a Working with Children Check and a National Police Record Check.
