See instructions below Employer Job Id: CEF331D2 Careermine Job Id: 1841212 Residential/DIDO/FIFO Cloncurry, Queensland, Australia 13% Superannuation Ernest Henry Mining Operations has an exciting opportunity available for a suitably qualified Health and Injury Management Advisor. This is a diverse and challenging role, which includes the management of; non-work related and work related illness/injury management and classification, as well as managing health and injured worker rehabilitation programs.
The role also supports Safe for Work screening/education & health surveillance functions; conducting periodic health assessments. The successful candidate will have: Formal qualifications with APHRA Registration as a Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist or Registered Nurse; Previous mine site experience preferable; Experience managing Work Related and Non-Work Related injuries and implementing Suitable duties plans, Health Management Plan as well as conducting health risk minimisation strategies; Experience in Workplace Rehabilitation and an understanding of QLD Workers Compensation legislation; Experience working with private worker compensation model would be highly advantageous; A high level of computer literacy is essential (Microsoft suite); Sound project skills; research, planning, liaising with stakeholders; and Well-developed organisational & time management skills. This position is offered residentially based in Cloncurry, DIDO from Mount Isa or FIFO from Townsville, Cairns or Brisbane.
The successful candidate will work twelve (12) hour shifts, on an eight (8) days on, six (6) days off roster. This is an afterhours, on-call role. Applications will only be accepted via glencore.
