Head of Food Sourcing
Job Description Sodexo are currently searching for a new Head of Food Sourcing to join our Supply Management team. Reporting into the Supply Management Director, this full-time role would lead the food and beverage source to contract strategy that sets the direction across the proceeding 3-5 years to continue to evolve the offering into operations and clients. This role will see you responsible for, but not limited to, the following: Provide ‘off-shelf’ alternatives that form a differentiating offering, that enables an accurate and timely response to tenders Management of the source to contract process in the development of a procurement register that details all the engagements the team is undertaking and the relative status of all contracts.
Manage contracts to ensure achievement of cost, quality and delivery requirements. Undertake detailed analysis upon pricing positions provided by suppliers to ensure variations are clearly understood and impacts acted upon. Maintaining an accurate food sourcing cost model across all categories.
Adhere to all process compliance requirements, ensuring all steps in the relative process are completed as defined. Conduct checks (in accordance to overall process validation activities) to ensure there are no deviations within the process compliance and potential risks identified. Provide authentic, honest and focused direction for the food sourcing team to ensure alignment and efficiency of the tasks to be completed.
