The primary purpose of this role is to direct and support the in house maintenance teams in day to day operations to optimise customer service and business continuity across the entire Crown Casino complex by ensuring that all plant, equipment and essential building services operate effectively twenty-four hours seven days a week. The Engineering & Maintenance shift operation provides first response to critical situations such as, emergency events, fires, floods, critical plant and equipment failures including high and low voltage electricity supply, water and gas supply, central plant operation, HVAC services, fire safety systems, transportation infrastructure, gaming and kitchen equipment. The Operations Manager – Maintenance will support the shift teams, Food & Beverage (F&B) and Audio-Visual maintenance services by instructing priorities, coordinating responses and providing technical and procedural direction in the event of high priority and day to day issues across all teams.

The Operations Manager – Maintenance will be directly responsible for coordinating, implementation and monitoring of Crown’s safety systems for high risk work to ensure the health and safety of employees, contractors and patrons and to support business objectives and legislative requirements. This includes issuing permits, conducting audits and inspections, reporting on non-conformance/compliance and monitoring preventive and corrective actions. Key Selection Criteria: Electrical Degree qualified or significant work experience in the Electrical engineering field is essential or have come from a trade background with a clear path leading into a senior role in managing multiple trades.

Demonstrable experience working on commercial builds at the highest level of finishing. Ability to manage a large and diverse team to execute work to the highest of standards that Crown is known for whilst instilling our values to all. Ability to build a rapport, communicate and influence all levels of management and employees in the business towards projects and business demands across all Crown properties.
