Commercial Property Manager
About the Company: Kingfisher Recruitment are proud to exclusively partner with one of Australia's most successful property groups who are the driving force behind the strategic performance and management of a significant commercial and industrial investment portfolio in the Eastern states. About the Role: As the NSW based Property Manager in this newly-created role, you will be hands-on; ensuring optimised performance of the assets, taking a lead in day to day management matters reporting to the group head of property and development. You'll be working closely with the rest of the Sydney based property, projects and development team; though spend your physical time both in the office and out on site to ensure you have eyes on asset performance.
This is a challenging role with a complex range of stakeholders, with this in mind it's essential you're comfortable making important decisions and handling conflicting views in a democratic and considered style. You'll be comfortable working with a high degree of autonomy and take the time to reflect on your own performance and benchmarks for continued professional development. With a team-focused mentality, you'll be fluid in your approach and be able to prioritise urgent tasks so time-management is essential.
While this is a busy role, you'll be given a great deal of autonomy to drive outcomes and work with passion. The Property Manager will be responsible for; Property Management of Office and industrial properties. Lease renewals, compliance documentation, rental arrears and outsourcing reactive maintenance.
Ensure delivery of asset plan business objectives on-budget, adding value to investments under management. Assessing and reviewing the feasibility of leasing proposals for the Assets you manage. Legal matters, ensuring compliance of the portfolio with regard to legislation.
Effective communication; both written and verbal to key stakeholders. About You: Tertiary qualification in business, property, finance or economics At least five years' experience in property / asset management with a focus on commercial or industrial within Australia Proven commercial acumen skills and analytics within financial modelling, combined with a high degree of I.T literacy Experience in adding value to assets via asset-enhancement, new NLA or developing a value-add lease strategy Ideally having knowledge of valuation, investment and leasing The Benefits: The position comes with an attractive salary package of between $100k and $130k plus annual bonus to suit experience.
