About us TASMAC is a machinery dealership business that caters for all facets of the agricultural, construction, lifestyle, and specialised mowing communities in Tasmania through sales, parts, and servicing of our core brands; Kubota, Massey Ferguson, Fendt, Krone, Taarup and Hustler. We have an unrivalled branch network in our Tasmanian PMA with four trading locations: Devonport, Launceston, Hobart, and Smithton. Tasmac is privately owned and locally operated.

Customer service is at the core of all that we do. We are growing and believe in our people, brands and marketplace. Branch Manager - Hobart The Opportunity We are recruiting for a motivated and commercially driven branch manager to lead our Southern Tasmania business.

This is a senior role in our organisation, reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer and the role forms part of our senior leadership group. You will have a focus on achieving budgeted revenue results, growth, market share outcomes and absorption targets in fixed operations. This position has a responsibility to lead, coach and mentor all staff.

A willingness and ability to spend effective customer facing time in the trade is required and this may include some direct selling. The key duties of this position will include, but are not limited to: • Effective management and leadership of a diverse team fostering a positive employee environment • A focus on revenue and margin including improving sales results, conquesting and market share • Managing the operational aspects of the branch including maintaining standards and presentation • Implement and execute the company strategy • Leading our customer service culture that includes being hands-on with customers • Responsibility for branch P & L, including expenses, KPIs, market share, 5 Star programs and the overall success of the branch • Branch stock control – wholegoods and parts • Ensure the implementation and maintenance of effective safety management systems, consistent with legislative requirements and company policies About you We are seeking to appoint a positive and engaging leader who can implement and execute the company’s business plan and strategy and you will preferably have experience leading a team in a dealership environment. The opportunity calls for a commercially astute individual who understands the importance of building processes and relationships to drive success.

The successful applicant will have the ability to understand the financial implications of a business decision as well as having excellent problem solving, negotiation and communication skills. Machinery dealership and leadership experience in a similar position is desirable and an understanding of the construction or agriculture space will be looked upon favourably, we are however open to other experiences.
