Group Payroll Manager
We're looking for a candidate to fill this position in an exciting company in The Finance Sector. Oversee the performance of a team of 8 experienced payroll officers of varying levels of seniority Ensure the team are exposed to continuous training and upskilling to support their success Drive cultural improvement towards a proactive, engaged team who want to provide value as they feel valued Take responsibility for the integrity of 30 payruns across over 15 entities on a fortnightly basis - over 900 pay events / year Provide visibility on cost, error rates etc. by way of consistent reporting to relevant senior stakeholders Make changes to ensure best-use of current payroll system (Chris21) Deliver on an improved payroll function (systems, team, processes) against your own assessment of areas for improvement (as well as tabled projects) Demonstrated success in a complex payroll function - manual processing and calculations, multiple agreements / awards, multi-entity/multi-site organisation, allowances, deductions etc.
