Maintenance Manager



An full time permanent Maintenance Manager role situated in Port Lincoln is currently available. $110K Your new company Located in picturesque Port Lincoln, this privately owned SA company has been operating for over 40 years to great success. Working with some of Australia's largest food companies, they are an extremely dynamic business that has the versatility to manufacture a diverse range of food products, and have invested in their people and their plant to ensure the highest level of care and quality.

Your new role You will be working in a hands on role which is both office and factory based and will be responsible for ; planning, organising, and controlling Site Capital Engineering and Maintenance activities. The role is very multifaceted and diverse in its nature and will have a combination of routine duties as well as exciting major work. Your new role will mainly include the following; Keeping the workshop and service areas safe and in order Maintaining and refining the preventative maintenance system Working closely with the operations team to establish a culture of continuous improvement Ensuring the maintenance systems are established to ensure compliance with quality Actively developing and reviewing the; HACCP plan, staff training and development, and plant failure procedures Executing the new product development trials Achieving the required plant availability to ensure achievement of production goals What you'll need to succeed You will ideally be a Degree qualified Engineer in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering combined with a solid background in manufacturing with an excellent working knowledge of; health and safety, food safety and people management.

Your; communication and problem solving skills and ability to work under pressure, will be extremely strong as you will be inspiring the heart of your team and taking them on a journey. Your prior experience in providing change management, process improvements, and creating engineering or administrative process solutions involving complex production systems will be highly regarded as their is some majour project work which will need to unfold in the short term.
