Native Title - Litigation focus -Govt - Brisbane - $100-120k plus super -4yrs pae reqd This federal government client are expanding due to an influx in high-profile projects and matters.They are looking for an experienced Lawyer with a 'can-do' attitude and strong litigation skills to join their small, hard-working and friendly team on an ongoing 12 month contract with potential to roll on a further 12 months. You will be providing advice and representation relating to native title and cultural heritage issues relevant to major projects including participation in negotiations working on a broad range of infrastructure and land tenure projects.

The variety and calibre of matters received by this department is both stimulating and personally rewarding. If you are currently working in private practice but are wanting to get back to the roots of being a lawyer with potential to shape legislation this is the role for you .You will work with genuine flexibility and be offered continuous personal development and training.

You will have a minimum of 4yrs legal post admission experience in general Commercial Litigation with competent levels of recent experience working on native title cases OR you will be an experienced Native Title Lawyer who has specialised in the field. Highly developed oral and written communication skills, the ability to manage a high-volume workload and adapt quickly, gain knowledge and understand new areas of law and new jurisdictions is essential for this role. There is potential for this role to be worked remotely from within other areas of Australia.
