About your opportunity As a Senior Occupational Therapist you will be responsible for the delivery of high-level Occupational Therapy clinical services and leadership in the areas of Hands and Upper Limb, including burns and plastics to stakeholders/customers of Queensland Health in accordance with organisational goals.As a part of this role you will provide clinical leadership to the HP3 Occupational Therapists incorporating clinical supervision and provide clinical leadership for the area of Hands and Upper limb including consulting, service improvement, research and quality activities.
Salary range of $53.88 to $57.97 p.
h. (HP4), 17.5% leave loading, 12.

We are seeking a highly dynamic candidate who can hit the ground running and demonstrate the following: A tertiary degree (or equivalent) qualification in Occupational Therapy, and current registration with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia.
This position is required to work on-call on weekends and public holidays on a rostered basis through the Department's Clinical On-Call service. A high level of knowledge, expertise and skill in Occupational Therapy services within the area of hands and upper limb, including burns and plastics. Ability to provide Occupational Therapy clinical services of a complex nature, where established principles, procedures and methods require some expansion, adaptation or modification.
