About the Role Deliver high level diabetes services and complex case management within a multidisciplinary team in accordance with prescribed professional and ethical standards with in-frequent need for supervision. Contribute to high level quality, research and service improvement activities within the multidisciplinary diabetes service in line with the Metro North HHS framework, diabetes service models of care.

Provide complex clinical advice to professional and operational supervisors, relevant service managers, multi-disciplinary team and other stakeholders. Seek and develop enhanced clinical practice knowledge and expertise within the diabetes clinical speciality through active learning within the team and by engaging in both formal and in-formal professional development. Actively participates in the development and maintenance of processes including (but not limited to) audits, product review, policy and procedure development, and documentation to ensure compliance with EQuIP National and the National Safety & Quality Health Service (NSQHS) Standards.
