Payroll/ Bookkeeper PART-TIME
Our client is seeking an experienced Payroll officer to commence ASAP The successful candidate will be required to hit the ground running so it is very important to be confident in tasks and responsibilities mentioned further below. This role is up to 20 hours a week and you have the flexibility to set times and days. Please note working from home is not possible during COVID-19.
You must be able to pass a Police Check to be successful. Description Tasks and responsibilities for this role include but are not limited to: Completing the weekly payroll process for 40 employees Reconciling BAS Updating and maintaining payroll system (MYOB) with accuracy and confidentiality Use of Excel and creating basic formulas Processing new employee contracts, details and terminations Award and legislation interpretation Accurately maintain employee leave and long service entitlements Meet ATO legislative reporting and requirements Profile The successful candidate must be able to hit the ground running without a log of training. To be considered successful for this position you must: Be able to work well under pressure Have at least 5 years experience in a similar role Have advanced computer skills - MYOB and Excel Excellent organisational and time management skills Take responsibility and accountability for workload Behave ethically when dealing with sensitive financial information Demonstrate a high level of accuracy and efficiency Exceptional verbal and written communication skills Job Offer This role is to commence ASAP for the right candidate Please note due to an anticipated large number of applications, only successful candidates will be contacted.
