They are a purpose led organisation who genuinely care about helping people and are seeking an Operations Manager to join a growing team to establish an improved operational function while empowering the organisations key values throughout. The Role Your purpose in this role it to effectively manage staff & operations, ensuring operational & safety requirements are met. This is an ever evolving organisation that continues to grow, while there are processes in place currently, there is room for improvements across a complex multi-site function.

Reporting to the Chief Operations Officer, your responsibilities will include but not limited to; Liaising with multiple internal stakeholders to drive open communication in a complex supply chain Identify opportunities to reduce waste and cost across Victorian operations Emphasis on health & safety on operations & machinery - Drive a safety-first culture Work with current processes, identifying potential risks & implementing processes to minimise risk in future operations. Taking a proactive approach should an incident arise. Manage Budget requirements, as it is not for profit this is instrumental to their operation Management of a growing team across multiple warehouses, and all associated cost, working on development opportunities within the team Stakeholder management, maintaining & building strong relationships with external suppliers, customers & internal stakeholders.

Your Background You will be an experienced Operations/Warehouse Manager, with an ability to develop best practice processes and systems. Tertiary qualified – ideally within Supply Chain/Logistics or equivalent Proven experience in running a hands-on warehouse operation that handles fast moving products (ideally FMCG/retail/large scale distribution) The ability to effectively lead a diverse team, you must be able to communicate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver on outcomes to improve the distribution process.
