The Manager – First Line Control is responsible for partnering with Consumer first line businesses to perform key control assessments that assist the development of a strong, effective and enduring risk management culture. You will be committed to maintaining and delivering the annual key control assessment plan as required by Group policies. The role is also for responsible in contributing to the design and implementation of an effective three lines of defence risk assurance model.

You will contribute to team development by providing regular feedback and coaching to more junior staff as well as providing direction to other team members on controls and issue management. Your behaviour and work ethic will be an example to foster the development and maintenance of a strong risk culture across the Group. What’s in it for me? What do I need? You will have at least 5 years combined experience in controls assurance, and risk management experience within the financial sector. You will have extensive experience in stakeholder management and will have strong knowledge of banking systems and processes. What’s it like to work there?
