ICT Procurement Officer
About the company Forward thinking, progressive Southern suburbs local council, actively involved and interested in changes that affect the community. About the role In this role you would work within a number of procurement projects across the ICT / IT discipline. These projects would span across hardware, software, telephony and server to name a few.
Duties Provide sound and practical procurement and contract management advice Effectively undertake all IT related contracting and tendering, including supplier interactions and negotiations Be part of the negotiations team; strategic sourcing, category and contract management Analysis of procurement market trends and benchmarking of this Preparing and drafting quality procurement documentation and contracts Managing of complex, high value contracts Relationship management with internal and external stakeholders Skill and experience Relevant tertiary qualifications - procurement, finance, legal Experience in procurement and contract management within an ICT environment Strong analytical skills Effective communication skills, both written and verbal Benefits Innovative and progressive environment awaits.
