Casual Emergency and Critical Care Clinicians - casual pool
The UQ VETS of the School of Veterinary Science at The University of Queensland Gatton Campus is seeking a Queensland registerable Veterinarian with a passion for small animal emergency and critical care to join the UQ VETS Emergency Team on a casual basis. Come and join the evolving UQ VETS Emergency team in a purpose built hospital in a fast-growing regional population centre. The emergency team is led by two specialists, in addition to residents, interns and full-time emergency clinicians.
If you are the right person you will be responsible for providing high quality services within the Small Animal Hospital situated on the Gatton campus. You will play an active role in the care and management of primary, emergency and referral cases in ECC. In addition to ensuring excellence in clinical care, you will actively participate in the clinical teaching and instruction of undergraduate veterinary science and veterinary technology students.
Experience in emergency and critical care is preferred but not essential. UQ VETS prides itself on our collegial, progressive and patient focused culture and the Gatton Campus facility includes the Small Animal, Equine Specialist and Production Animal Hospitals, has a solid, diverse clinical caseload, and an exceptional multi-disciplinary team of clinical specialists and educators all here for our valued Veterinary students and each other. Remuneration This is a casual position at HEW Level 8.
The remuneration for the position will be $ $64.96 per hour (inclusive of a 25% casual loading) plus employer superannuation contributions of up to 9.5%.
