What you'll be doing To provide high quality comprehensive speech pathology services to the patients, clients and carers of the Illawarra Shoalhaven Local Health District (ISLHD), in order to promote optimal health outcomes. The unit head is responsible for efficient and effective delivery of clinical services, ensuring the unit’s performance is of the highest professional and clinical standard.
The unit head works with the speech pathology Head of Discipline, general managers and clinical stream directors to facilitate discipline-specific business activities, fulfil reporting requirements, undertake performance management, and enhance staff and service development. The unit head holds a significant leadership position within the speech pathology department, and will work to develop and maintain a high functioning team that delivers excellent clinical and operational outcomes. This is a temporary full time leave relief position until 27 June 2021 with the possibility of extension.
