An opportunity exists for a Retail Solutions Architect to support, configure, improve this well-regarded organisations' Retail Solutions. An opportunity exists for a Retail Solutions Architect to support, configure, improve and help realise and enhance benefits from this well-regarded organisation’s Retail solutions. This role will also have accountability for understanding the entirety of the company’s Retail systems landscape and how the various modules interact while providing technical advice and governance.

Your key responsibilities will be to manage the delivery of functional solutions to support a retail implementation including:- Share expertise and knowledge with the team to develop capability. Ensure that team capability is developed and maintained to deliver and support all functions required from the team, or source capability externally. Delegate work appropriately to empower the team and optimally utilise the capability within the team.

Through team, provide functional solutions across all systems within the retail environment to our business colleagues, and; Provide key input information on scope and effort to support business cases in the Customer and Products Delivery team. Work with peers within the retail technology management team to produce complete solutions including being accountable for providing other teams with the solutions required and understanding and communicating workloads to the members in the team with the management team. You will actively participate in producing functional solutions, including understanding and evaluating impacts of changes to the landscape, particularly between systems.

Review of functional design documents to ensure alignment with overall retail architecture and identify potential issues, concerns and opportunities with respect to interactions between systems. Work with Analysts to modify functional design documents as required and identify technical areas within the landscape that require maintenance or upgrades. Suitable applicants will have at least 8 years’ experience in technology working as a Solution Architect supporting end users to achieve business benefits from their systems in a highly integrated landscape.

You will bring experience managing third party suppliers for the provision of service delivery. Clear interpersonal communication is required to be successful in this role together with experience in leading, supervising and developing high performance teams. Ideally you will have a TOGAF certification or commensurate training or experience.

Experience in multiple of the following technologies, together with extensive integration experience in a complex environment will also be highly regarded : Salesforce (Lightning console, Sales, Service and Marketing Cloud including DX), Mulesoft, SmartCommunications, Digital (React, .Net, AngularJS), New Voice Media, Orion, Snowflake/Matillion, Amazon Web Services, SiteCore/Sitefinity, Jira, GitHub, Splunk..
