Inventory / Stock Controller
Our client is a leading national supplier of high performance technology products, and on their behalf we are seeking an experienced inventory / stock controller to assist in establishing exceptionally high levels of accuracy and customer service. About the role Reporting to the NSW Operations Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining and constantly improving the company’s inventory control processes and procedures both culturally and operationally. This responsibility will extend beyond internal company demands to effective engagement with customers, suppliers, and service providers to satisfy the company’s relationship expectations.
Accuracy in areas such as quantity, availability, stock redundancy, location, and value will be highly regarded in addition to an ability to contribute to current and future strategy. Whilst your experience and skill set will be an important factor, your value as an individual prepared to do what is necessary to achieve success and contribute very positively to this company’s culture will be equally considered. Have an ability to positively engage and collaborate with management, support personnel, service providers and clients. Prefer to promote solutions, rather than identify problems. Have a genuine commitment to continuous improvement.
Constantly monitor key performance indicators to achieve required service levels. Our client depends significantly on supply chain excellence to constantly reinforce their brand, image and competitive advantage, and views this role as fundamental to these objectives. Their service capability is underpinned by an SAP ERP system and whilst not a prerequisite SAP experience will be an advantage.
