Are you passionate about remote health and working with an Indigenous caseload? One of my favourite health services is looking for a Podiatrist to join the team on a locum basis. I have placed many staff with the service and the feedback is excellent. You will be based in remote North Queensland and work as part of a larger allied health team, including other Podiatrists.
The role will cover a broad caseload, which might include: Community clinics Chronic disease self-management and rehabilitation Diabetes and high-risk feet Outreach services to remote communities The role involves clinic appointments, home visits and outreach to communities in the area. You will travel by road or by air and work as part of a multidisciplinary team. This is a generalist role and a minimum of two years experience is required.
The locum is to start in May and will last for three months with possible extension. This region offers a real insight into Outback Australia, with a wide range of places to enjoy 4 wheel driving, camping, fishing and hiking.
