Health & Safety Advisor
Company: Due to planned and sustained growth an established Civil Engineering company that focuses on multi-million dollar projects across the state, are looking to appoint a Health & Safety Advisor to the team in Melbourne. The business is split across 3 disciplines and was founded 12 years ago and since its inception, has grown year on year. Due to an increased order book up until 2025, they have a need to appoint an H&S Advisor to report into the senior management.
You will oversee 10 projects in Melbourne across various sectors. Role: The role is accountable for establishing and managing an effective HSE service across their projects in line with the businesses strategic plan. This opportunity will suit a highly organised individual, who operates with integrity and has a sound knowledge of HSE legislation.
Provide specialist technical HSE advice and support to the project/contract and local management team Manage the implementation of Group HSEQ systems and including the delivery of hands-on training with site teams Lead incident investigations Interface with relevant stakeholders, both internal and external, providing specialist HSE Management Systems and audit/inspection support Champion the development and implementation of the company policies, systems, procedures and guidelines for the relevant projects Qualifications: Minimum of a Cert Iv in OHS (Diploma preferred) Civil engineering experience (Essential) 4 years of experience in a lead Health & Safety role (Essential) Experience in conducting Incident Investigations (Essential) For any questions relating to this role or other opportunities with D&B and our clients please contact Ian Bond on 0421 604 838 or click apply.
