This is a Recruitment Pool for Fixed Term Full Time appointments 6-12 months with the possibility of extension(s).

Appointments may be made from this pool until 02/10/2020. Position Profile: The successful applicants to the fellow position will be required manage paediatric outpatients and inpatients in the Cardiothoracic Surgery Department under the supervision of the Cardiothoracic Surgeon. To undertake clinical duties and on call duties as directed by the Head of Department, Cardiothoracic Surgery, to participate in departmental meetings and be involved in teaching and service development.

To conduct research and quality improvement projects. Area Profile: Perth Children’s Hospital (PCH) is a new purpose built 298 bed specialist paediatric hospital and trauma centre providing outstanding inpatient, outpatient and ambulatory medical care to children and adolescents up to 16 years of age. Located on the Queen Elizabeth II Medical Centre site in Nedlands, Perth, the hospital became fully operational in June 2018 and features world class facilities specifically designed around the needs of children, adolescents, families and carers of Western Australia.

With state of the art technology PCH offers an extensive range of specialist paediatric medical and surgical services supported by our 2,500 strong.
