The Role The Senior Specialist, Field Marketing will lead the development and execution of digital acquisition programs for Equinix Australia and play a critical role in supporting the growth objectives of the business with integrated programs. In this role a key output will be the creation and delivery of rolling 6-month plans and industry or product specific campaigns as per agreed priorities and KPIs.
The plans will use a variety of marketing vehicles (display advertising, SEM, content syndication, eDM, social, customer references and face to face events) and will involve cross function collaboration with the broader marketing team to find ways to leveragE regional and global marketing resources to address AU market needs without necessitating large budgets. This role will require strong verbal and written communication and language skills in creating compelling key messages and content pieces for our target segments. A conceptual understanding of cloud computing, colocation, and digital transformation will be used in content development.
Implementation of cadence to review leads and target account engagement with inside sales reps and sales management to ensure lead quality and progression toward revenue uplift from marketing. Innovation and new ideas to improve processes, campaigns and results will be welcomed alongside the measurement of key metrics and use of analytics in evaluating campaign performance. Support for the team to shift towards emphasis to digital-centric marketing tactics.
Knowledge and skills 8 years B2B marketing or agency experience with degree or equivalent Confidence in driving accountability from sales for lead management best practices Excellent written skills and persuasive in articulating complex, technical concepts as business benefits for content marketing success. Content marketing experience will be of value Subject matter expertise in digital marketing practices. Plan, execute and track digitally based demand generation campaigns Skilled in generating marketing insights from data and driven to application of analytics to optimise marketing efforts.
