Minimal after hours and on-call requirements Role: This opportunity for an experienced GP offers an individually tailored working environment with flexible work hours. Ideally working in a full-time capacity you will be providing services to a strong and loyal patient base. The on-call and after-hours requirements are minimal with one weekend every six months and one night per month.
Nursing home and home visits are only required as needed. Your experience in chronic disease management and family medicine will be beneficial in your practice. And, to assist your settlement into the clinic and community, a detailed orientation and induction will be provided.
Ongoing mentoring is also available and encouraged. AHPRA Registration – limited, general or specialist Australian general practice experience or comparable Broad medical experience across all patient demographics The Package: 55-65% of mixed billings based on experience Relocation support and assistance Flexibility in sessions Servicing a population of 37,000 for more than 30 years, this modern clinic offers travel medicine, a quick-fix clinic, minor procedurals, diabetes monitoring and care, ECG’s, spirometry, immunisations, wound management and occupational health services. This is an accredited, computerised practice with seven fully equipped consulting rooms and staffed with three GPs supported by a practice manager, chronic disease coordinator, two full-time practice nurses and diabetes educator.
There is also pathology and physiotherapy co located. As a teaching practice the clinic is committed to continuing professional development and training amongst the GPs, GP registrars, medical students and nursing students. Practice hours are Monday – Friday 8.
30am – 6.00pm. Wodonga is located close to the Murray River on the NSW/Victoria border.
