We're looking for a candidate to fill this position in an exciting company. You will manage two teams focussed on achieving the above responsibilities, however your main input will be on creating new strategies and market adaptations to continuously improve the platform and the opportunities on platform for vendors and buyers. Innovation is the key element and as the company enjoys the market leader status, traditional sales generating activities are not the core focus, its more important to be looking for new ways to capitalise on the platforms technology to increase category growth.
You must have experience working for either a similar marketplace platform, or an online retailer representing a number of categories to the consumer markets. You must have experience and a proven track record of developing partnerships with retailers in several consumer categories such as - electronics, fashion, automotive, sporting goods, toys, home and garden, appliances. You must also be able to demonstrate a proven track record of successfully growing out categories such as the list mentioned.
You must be able to demonstrate examples of successfully building and managing a team to achieve above expected results. You must have managed national teams and been responsible for large P/L's..
