About the role · Diverse patient base · Dynamic and growing health service We are currently seeking an experienced and suitably qualified Infectious Disease Consultant to join our team on a Full Time or Part Time basis. To be successful in this position you will need to have; · Demonstrated clinical ability commensurate with that expected of a medical specialist (Infectious Diseases) · Leadership and management experience, including the development of staff · Significant experience working at a senior level in a major hospital · Demonstrable knowledge of the Victorian Public Hospital system · Demonstrated ability to introduce and manage change · Demonstrable interpersonal and negotiation skills at a high level · Adherence to safe practice standards and policies · High level decision-making ability · Ability to further own professional development This position will be involved in the education and supervision of undergraduate and postgraduate trainees.
