It is situated one hour's drive north of Brisbane and it is a 30 minute drive to Maroochydore on the Sunshine Coast. Cooroy offers both primary and secondary schools, one hotel, a library, a police station, a golf club, the RSL club and sub branch, a selection of cafes and restaurants, unique retail outlets and a range of accommodation options. Noosa Botanical Gardens is situated on Lake MacDonald just outside the town and several of the Noosa Trails are accessible in Cooroy.
This practice was purpose built in 2000. It boasts eight doctor consulting rooms, two separate treatment rooms, a large waiting room and a separate children's waiting room. Support staff include receptionists, practice nurses, chronic disease nurses and a practice manager.
This surgery is involved in a Registrar training programme with James Cook University. The surgery is a mixed billing facility and is open from Monday to Friday and on Saturday morning. Closed on Sundays and Public Holidays.
No on call or after hours. This practice is seeking a full time experienced General Practitioner to become part of a vibrant, friendly and caring health team. Must have be vocationally registered and have indemnity insurance.
