Your responsibilities will include: The Australian Defence Force over the past decade has experienced a sharp increase in the need for distributed simulation to support collective training for combined, Joint and coalition forces. JP9711-1 addresses this need by providing simulation-as-a-service capabilities. Working within a dynamic environment as the Senior Contracts Specialist, will support the JP9711 Contracts and Subcontracts Managers in administering numerous JP9711 program commercial arrangements and ensuring Lockheed Martin and its strategic supplier’s contractual obligations are successfully delivered.
Your primary focus of responsibilities will include: managing contract and subcontract related obligations and deliverables; preparing and submitting commercially related correspondence to customers and suppliers; compiling intellectual property plans & registers; conducting commercial analysis/due diligence; facilitating customer/ supplier meetings and negotiations; maintaining multiple contract configurations; and ensuring high levels of commercial performance in accordance with company policies and processes. Other day to day tasks include: Providing commercial input and guidance to a range of stakeholders across the Company Preparation and day to day management of Company Commercial agreements Ensuring Customer and Supplier Confidential Information and Export Controlled artefacts and processes are effectively executed and maintained Facilitating the timely completion and delivery of commercial artefacts, registers and reports as required Updating company insurance artefacts for the purposes of program coverage within delegated responsibility Maintaining accurate records of all commercial arrangements executed by the Company Administration of customer / supplier invoice and payment About you: To be successful, you will have: Experience working within a large organisation in a commercial role Demonstrated experience working within an engineering or project environment (preferably in Defence) Significant contract management experience working with contract development, management and closure Experience developing contract terms and conditions and identifying associated commercial risk as....
