NOTE: This job listing has expired and may no longer be relevant Communications and Administrative Assistant Permanent part time $28,899.00 per annum Superannuation Christmas shut down The New South Wales Nurses and Midwives’ Association (NSWNMA) in association with the Australian Nursing and Midwifery Federation New South Wales Branch (ANMF NSW Branch) seeks a Communications and Administrative Assistant within our Strategic Industrial and Bargaining Team on a permanent part time (14 hours per week) basis, ideally worked over three days per week. This position supports our private sector collective bargaining team to conduct successful campaigns by creating engaging communications and delivering administrative support to team members.
Selection criteria: The incumbent will most likely hold or be working towards a qualification in marketing administration with a communications focus, or similar. We would like to meet you if you’re looking for a role that needs these skills: Desktop publishing skills: experience with the Microsoft Office 365 suite, including advanced-level Word, intermediate Excel, Powerpoint, and Microsoft Flow/Power Automate. Knowledge of Adobe products, Salesforce and Pardot also useful.
Ability to source digital images appropriate to provided content Experience with social media platforms including Facebook in a union, community or similar progressive campaigning context Good eye for detail for proof-reading and grammar correction Enjoyment of business process-related work, including the creation and maintenance of efficient workflows for a team Demonstrated proficiency in administrative work in a digitally-enabled office environment Good communication and time management skills Able to solve problems in challenging situations Commitment to the trade union movement Knowledge of a community language (not essential) Demonstrated capacity to be an open learner Commitment to contribute and work within a team How to Apply Click here to apply for this position online.
