Interactive Director



OMD Melbourne is looking for an Interactive Director to be an integral part of our 'We Got This' culture. The Interactive Director is responsible for the delivery of the digital roadmap that will help unlock the client's business and advertising ambitions. Supporting the client as they navigate this complex process and assisting in managing both internal and external stakeholders.

Reporting to the Head of Digital, this role is responsible for setting the digital strategic direction and the ownership of key briefs and planning. Providing executive oversight to the team responsible for delivering the day to day digital media planning and execution, ensuring the work being created ties to business outcomes. The perfect candidate will need to have a strong knowledge of digital media and related digital channels, with the ability to debate and improve strategic approaches and execution opportunities.

Key Responsibilities: Contribution to development and ownership of the client's digital roadmap created to unlock the client's business ambitions encompassing data, technology and media. Ensure the client digital strategy leads the market and provide oversight and direction to the implementation teams to convert these strategies into campaign initiatives. Creating and delivering sustainable testing and innovation roadmaps aligned with the client business priorities Ensuring OMD's digital governance including our viewability, transparency and brand safety standards are applied and upheld by all internal teams, including the specialist business units.

Working alongside the trading director to lead the negotiation approach with all partners, leveraging the client's entire spend to unlock data and technology benefits. Be a client point of contact for all digital channels and platforms, working with all internal stakeholders to deliver the client a seamless digital media, data and technology product Build and maintain the strongest personal and professional relationships with clients. With a specific focus to the senior marketeers Client side and the digital leads.

Skills & Experience: 7 years of relevant digital and communications experience Experience in leading the digital strategy encompassing media, data and technology for large advertisers.
