Electrical Supervisor (Shutdown) - Night Shift

Our client, one of Australia's leading resources companies, is seeking to engage an Electrical Supervisor for an upcoming shutdown in July.
As the Section 44 Supervisor for night shifts, you will oversee the installation of some control systems hardware in substation and subsequent commissioning during our client's planned maintenance shutdown in the Pilbara region of WA. This Night Shift Supervisor will take guidance from the day shift Supervisor and be accountable to ensure relevant company processes are adhered to by the contractor. In addition, the Supervisor will also need to be available to participate in construction risk assessment sessions (currently via Webex meeting) and be on site for: 2 days pre-works walk around with the contractors roughly 4-6 weeks before the shut commences be on site 4 days before the shut starts for a final walkthrough, and 3 days after the end of 2 of the above shuts Minimum Requirements of this role: Previous experience as a S44 supervisor for one of the major mining houses, familiar with the client's requirements and processes, including organising permit to work and be the permit holder if required Supervised installation of electrical on our client's site, and experience with control system installation and commissioning will be highly regarded Has competency to identify if the electrical installation meets our client's required standard and quality Has experienced working in a major mining scheduled maintenance shut, be cool headed under pressure and has shown ability to think on their feet to clear path for project Embrace the opportunity to influence to enable project to complete works in a safely and timely manner Be mobilised and ready to go, possessing the majority of our clients induction qualifications There is potential for a further five shutdowns over the course of the next 12 months.
