Casual Pool - Radiation Therapist (Covid 19)
Employment Type : Casual Position Classification : Radiation Therapist Level 2 Remuneration : $33.63 - $46.96 per hour Requisition ID : REQ162918 Where you'll be working Western Sydney Local Health District (WSLHD) is responsible for providing primary and secondary health care for people living in the Auburn, Blacktown, and The Hills Shire, Holroyd and Parramatta Local Government Areas (LGAs) and tertiary care to residents of the Greater Western Region.

Recruits to the casual pool will need to be willing to work across multiple sites/facilities within WSLHD to support service continuity in response to demand due to the need to surge and backfill allied health workforce. What you'll be doing Undertake a full range of duties expected of the Radiation Therapist for the purpose of planning and delivering accurate and precise radiation therapy to patients as prescribed by the Radiation Oncologists including patient care.
The Radiation Therapist will play a pro-active role in the multidisciplinary team to ensure optimum and efficient delivery of service across the district in a period of current COVID-19 health emergency. Applicants to the Radiation Therapist casual pool may also be required to support a broader range of activities within their scope of practice to ensure WSLHD is able to effectively respond to the changing needs of the COVID-19 health emergency.
