In the role of the Account Director, your key objective is to set and lead the implementation process for your client's campaigns, and inspire the rest of the team using the OMD way. It is essential for the successful candidate to be available full-time. Key Responsibilities Manage and develop key senior relationships with your client Control and constantly drive the quality or your team's output in the creation of plans and buys that reflect the insights and the ideas shaped from them Ensure in-depth assessment of all communication options, using media research tools, delivers innovative insights Involve in negotiaion strategies to ensure best outcome for the company and client Provide budget forecast figures for your clients Identify and drive new business opportunities through existing or new business relationships Oversee relevant campaign activities including media owner's brief, contract tracking and budget controls Understand our recommendations are grounded in consumer insights and that these insights should lead to communications recommendations, beyond traditional media plans Required Skills and Experience Available to work full-time Tertiary qualified, 6 years relevant media experience of strong media planning & buying experience Strategic planning capabilities and good understanding of media fundamentals Exceptional client facing communication & presentation skills Business revenue driving ability People leadership experience Competencies: At OMD, we live by our five core competencies: Client Engagement - whether its dealing with our clients, media partners or suppliers, we deliver best in class service and always done with integrity Product & Innovation – We think creatively, critically and strategically to deliver innovative marketing solutions for the complex world we live in Commercial – we are commercially savvy and deeply understand our business, and our clients, enabling better decisions and innovative thinking People Management/Leadership – we care about our people and have a commitment to their development and growth Personal Growth – an on-going commitment to invest 10% of your time to personal development These competencies are the key to developing and enhancing our people's skills as media professionals and humans and are embedded into our performance processes and training programs.
