Chief Product Owner - Identity and Access Management (IAM)



Reporting directly to the Chief Information Security Officer, you will lead development and execution of our IAM strategy. You will drive the delivery of technical solutions while engaging with and supporting businesses, technology teams, and other internal and external stakeholders across Macquarie. You will represent IAM in all capacities including program leadership, people leadership, operations, risk management and strategy.

This role requires a keen sense of business priorities, stakeholder engagement, cyber security best practices, and an ability to operate in a fast-paced dynamic environment. Your responsibilities will include: managing a global tribe comprised of several Agile scrum teams in project-delivery, operations, and support of our IAM estate, including associated budgets and planning leading a comprehensive identity and access management program that touches 4,000 business applications across all Macquarie lines of business. staying abreast of IAM advancements, technologies, and threats with an agile, continual-improvement mindset and a strong focus on delivery proactively manage all relevant risks, issues, governance, and reporting providing thought leadership with an understanding of both business and security needs developing and maintain a clear strategy, security objectives, plans, policies, and metrics engaging with business leadership and senior stakeholders developing and maintain business-relevant metrics and key performance indicators for continual measurement and feedback on the success of your area being a strong role model for our values of Integrity, Accountability, and Opportunity.

In order to be successful in this role, you will likely possess the following qualities, although they are not mandatory: 5 years in technology leadership roles, including people leadership, program delivery and risk management experience with Agile, Lean, and DevOps culture, practices & tools a proven track record of success in execution of large programs and meeting defined goals and objectives experience with IAM software technologies and architectures (e.g. SailPoint, SCIM) an understanding of regulatory requirements, risk management practices, cybersecurity frameworks (e.

g. NIST), and best-practice approaches for the management and delivery of cybersecurity and identity functions an ability to translate large volumes of complex data into clear and concise information and insights for senior management thrives on change and shows creative thinking and initiative experience in contract and vendor negotiation excellent communication skills and interpersonal abilities.
