About the role: We're looking for an experienced, passionate and motivated individual to fill our vacant Assistant Manager/2IC position to… Enjoy developing strong relationships with customers who you will know by name and pet. Ensure that your store always provides memorable and meaningful customer interactions, through inspiring and educating customers with their vast pet care knowledge and passion. Reporting to the Store Manager you will be there to assist in every aspect of the management and operation of your store to ensure you one day you follow in their footsteps.

Work with your Store Manager to direct the team on required tasks and monitor their completion, training the team on new products and process, assist in coordinating the set-up and communication of promotions & company updates. Take the lead in the Store Managers absence to ensure the success of the stores operations and sales. Invest in your team by developing, mentoring and motivating them to achieve sales targets and performance KPIs.

Always inspire a fun and supportive culture instore where your team loving coming to work every day and customers love visiting. Take a lead on the stock management process (receiving and processing deliveries, ordering and maintaining stock levels). Run a top-notch operation with exceptional standards, sales and KPI results.

Get involved with your local community and expand your store’s customer base by further building the strong reputation of the PETstock brand including partnering with local rescue centres to ensure successful pet adoption days. Our PURRfect PETstock person for this role is: Flexible hours - Either Full Time or Part Time role Available. Equine Knowlegde highly desirable.

An experienced retail manager, with at least one year in a Supervisory role, who has thrived in a fast-paced, customer-focussed environment. A people person who cares about their customers, team and the success of the store. Passionate about the industry and inspiring others to provide the best pet care.
