The Quality Assurance Specialist supports Cantel Australia and APAC teams’ operations and quality system by completing day-to-day Quality Assurance tasks to ensure substantial ISO 13485 compliance as it relates to the Cantel Australia value stream. Manage complaint handling process for product complaints reported to Cantel Australia and APAC teams, resolve quality related issues, manage Quality Assurance metrics, and provide feedback to the Cantel corporate Quality Assurance team.

Utilise the Correction and Preventive Action system to pursue continuous improvement of the Quality System and Cantel products. • Work cross-functionally with Cantel Australia and APAC teams and Cantel Quality Assurance department to ensure clear communication and completion of business and departmental objectives. • Work with Cantel International Quality Assurance Manager and Cantel cross-functional departments to assure the ISO 13485 quality system operates in compliance with applicable regulatory standards, including participation in internal and external audits/inspections.

• Development/ maintenance of local quality system processes, ISO/customer audit facilitation, document control (ISO 13485 and 9001). • Implementation of improved/automated QS processes (propel QMS/COMET). • Arrange/ Deliver Quality Management Systems (QMS) Procedure training.

• Manage Cantel complaint handling system by receiving, logging and appropriately reporting customer complaints per the applicable complaint handling systems and processes through to closing. • Complaint intake, organization, communication and local QMS documentation/closure • Complete Return Merchandise Authorisa.
