35 hours | Full Time | Block & Split shifts | Positive Employer | New Small Service. Looking for a change of OSHC service? Or from Early Childcare that is fun and rewarding? A brand new opportunity to work with this positive small NFP employer as a Coordinator in Out of School Hours Care (OSHC) located in the Hurstville area, on the South side of Sydney for a brand-new service Why make this your next role? Full time position | 35 hours a week | Block & Split Shifts. Plenty of admin / non contact time, approx 15 hours per week.

Remaining hours on the floor per week, build on the relationships with the children and educators. Leadership position as Nominated Supervisor and Educational Leader. Assisted by a supportive NFP small provider, with head office handling all rostering, policies, payroll and most CCMS (QikKids) items.

What's involved? New service to open in 2020. Responsible for the day to day organisation, management, program development and leadership of the OSHC service. The service will initially start as a 60 place service.

Supervising children K-6 (5-12 years of age). Managing and leading a team of Educators. Liaise with stakeholders (families, school, community) and bring a sense of community and improve on quality.

Maintain and continuously contribute to the Quality Improvement Plan (QIP) for the service. Who are we looking for? Preferable experience as a Coordinator or Team Leader in OSHC or early childhood. Someone looking for a change, who wants to step up and make a positive difference.

Minimum Certificate IV in Children’s Services or approved equivalent or above. Effective interpersonal, communication and leadership skills. Commitment to working as a team with a mature and responsible work attitude.

Proficient in the use of the Microsoft Office suite, internet and social media. CHCPRT001 Identify and respond to children and young people at risk - Accredited Child Protection or willingness to obtain (1 day training). HLTAID004 Provide an emergency first aid response in an education and care setting or willingness to obtain (1 day training).
