Application Support Analyst
Work for a leading Bank-to-Corporate Cash Management Software Provider The Organisation My client supports Virtual Bank Technology which is a modern, service oriented architecture technology used by leading businesses and government departments for complex cash management processes. Working closely with banks, businesses and integration partners, our Managed Service and Service Desk Analysts provide technical support, operational processing and monitoring, consultancy and inter personal skills that are required to provide the organisations Software as a Service and effective Incident Management. The Opportunity Assist the Service Manager in daily processing and scheduled operational tasks Run Control Reports to confirm completion of business cycles.
Liaise with direct and banking partner clients on completion of business cycles. Assist the Service Desk Manager incident management and resolution, including ticket logging, investigation and customer communication as necessary. Liaise with Data Centre personnel.
Communicate with Technical Support staff. Change Control, Incident and operation communication planning. Close working with all Managed Service and Service Desk personnel and Head of Managed Services to promote continual service improvement.
The Ideal Candidate A strong understanding of SQL Server 2008/2012. An understanding of Windows 2008/2012/2016. Previous experience in application support with ability to communicate effectively to development teams.
Ability to communicate effectively with people of all levels including facing off to customers. Good process appreciation. Incident, change, release and problem management experience.
Customer facing interaction Experience or knowledge of ITIL (V3) principles for Service Management.
